Community Sports Academies
Under the Kidsleague program Coahces and sports administrators from various parts of Kenya shall be empowered to establish competitive youth soccer/sports leagues in thier respective zones.
Through the Ubabalo whole life coaching program coaches are transformed from soccer coaches to whole life coaches focusing on six pillars of human life. (physical, intellectual,Mental,Socail,environmental and Spiritual). The program targets to develop a positive value culture from the grass root as well as increase the perfomance level of youth hence developing themeselves into technically gifted players.
Our vison is to develop 4 tiers of the community sports academies
Involves individual raining where coahces are taken through the Ubabalo Training as well as Basic Soccer coaching. This is held at various centers across the coutnry. So far over 300 coaches have gon e through this training.
Trained coaches can now form partnership with each other to start competiton amongest themselves through a registered COmmunity Based Organization or Faith Based organization. They are trained and empowered on how to run sports centes effeciently hence a community sports Academy is establish.
A more strucutre regional centers ar put together to tap from the community based sites, this centers might start at provincial level/district level so that the very talented are pushed forward high perfoming center or centers of excellence. It can take the form of boarding center or day center depening on he financila capabilities of a region.
This is the Ultimate level where we shall have national sports institute/academies not more than four in number. This shall be run by privated/businessmen as well as organizations faith based organizations and the government /federations.
